This workshop aims to be an active discussion about how stones can be used in constructions like bridges and Cathedrals in a contemporary perspective, taking into consideration architectural, structural and technical aspects. Bridges and Cathedrals are examples of magnificent use of stones, based on genius of Master Builders.
Thus, it make sense to start a discussion based on reference applications of stones, with impact in society over centuries to have new perspectives for the future. The workshop will involve the participants in exercises of design, and debate about questions with effective implications in possible ways of design and construct.
